I was a huge Adam Lambert fan during his American Idol reign. He was in a totally different league and never failed to entertain. I looked forward to his artistry after Idol but he didn’t go in a direction I could follow. I so would have loved to see him go Led Zeppelin or REO Speedwagon but alas, he decided not to honor his fans with what we most loved him for.
In the meantime, I thought I could find his Idol songs on Amazon.com where I could buy MP3’s but no luck. I did buy his Time For Miracles which is quite haunting and I would have bought Rabbit Hole but at that time it hadn’t yet appeared.
I did find a version of Mad World by The Future Hitmakers that was done “in the style of Adam Lambert” and I bought it. If you’re missing Mad World and want the next best thing to Adam himself, give this a try. I totally loved it! — (Originally posted in September 2010 on the Gityasome blog)
